After wet blocking, my swatch was too big. I was getting 4.6 stitches per inch and the pattern called for 5. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but when the chest is 40″, it’s a huge difference! Even dropping down one size, wasn’t going to do it. Dropping down two sizes would make it too small. Ugh. So I knitted another swatch using size 6 needles. I’m getting 5.125 stitches per inch now. Too small. But I always loosen up my knitting as I get going so I think I can block this to size. I’m getting perfect row gauge.
That means I can cast on tonight! No sleeves so…. Two weeks? 😉
