Do you see how deep the snow is in our yard?

To get this photo, I changed the dial to “A” and then set the ISO to 200 and the White Balance to +2.  I still had to go into my photo editing software to make some corrections though.  I know it sounds, from the above sentences, that I have a clue as to what that means.  But the reality is that I looked up techniques on how to photograph snow on the Internet and then looked in the index of my Sony Alpha 390 book on how to set those things on the camera. Then I shot dozens of pictures and one or two turned out decent.  🙂  You gotta love digital photography and the Internet.  Immediate gratification and no wasted money on film and stuff.

I was photographing while Dan and DJ shoveled.

The neighbor came over with his snow blower and helped.  I felt pretty guilty that I wasn’t out there shoveling too.  Next time will be my turn…
