More Sewing

I am 3/4 of the way finished with the simple blocks quilt.

I put a few on the wall to audition the types of sashing that I had previously drawn up in EQ7.

Blurry pictures but I wanted just to see if the real fabrics looked significantly different than my drawings. Now which one do you like?

I’m leaning towards the 1 1/2″ sashing. I like the change in scale. It looks more like a plaid. But I don’t know if I like the light or dark sashing best. I like them both. Also if I use the skinnier sashing, I will need to make more blocks since that changes the overall size drastically.
