The Top Is Done

It’s so huge that I can’t get the entire quilt in a photograph – even when standing on a chair. But here are two that show as much as possible,

The star border is a little baggy. I can quilt that out. I’ve quilted much worse. I didn’t take a final measurement but I’m sure it’s queen size plus.

Now what? Which UFO to tackle next? I want to start on putting the red appliqué sampler together. I think that one will be awesome. But I don’t have a layout solidified yet. I also need a new leader/ended project. And why not quilt this one? really finish it? I need batting because I don’t think I have any wide enough. I need backing. I could piece some from my stash. And I do have plenty of quilt tops – mine and my sister’s – that should be quilted up first!

Decisions, decisions…

That’s lovely, I love the variety in the different blocks making up borders/frames. Very nice.

I really like it and I think it will look great on any one of your beds. Nice to get one big enough to use every day!
