A Finished Top

The borders appear a bit wavy but I’m pretty sure they are not. :-). It will quilt out either way. The top is 60 x 73. An odd size but it works. I think I will attempt to make a slight scalloped edge around the whole quilt after I quilt it. Just a gentle curve. I’ve never done that before and I’m up for trying something new.

Work and piano lessons are on the agenda today but I think I can get the backing pieced and this quilt loaded on the frame some time today. It feels good that this easy project will never become a UFO. Hopefully…. If all goes as planned.

Love your finished quilt. I’m so glad you were able to complete it without it becoming a UFO. Great job!

Wow it looks really great. Has a quaint feel about it. Get me home so I can start on my African fabric quilt…finally.

I think a scalloped edge would be very pretty. I like how the white sashing makes the blocks float.
