Now It’s A Sweater

5 Jun

I picked up the stitches at the shoulder and back of the neck and knitted down the back.  You can’t even tell where the knitting on each part begins and ends.  It’s truly seamless.  Totally cool construction.  I believe the next step is to join the left front, back and right front in a circle (opening remains in the front since it’s a cardigan) and proceed on down.  The sleeves get added later.

The yarn looks kind of bulky in the picture but it’s really light weight.  It’s just a step above sock weight yarn.  It’s also very stretchy so it should block very nicely.
